COVID-19 Alert #3 - How to Keep Your Family Safe

What You Need to Be Doing Now

As of the evening of 3/1/20, the COVID-19 virus is now in 61 countries and has infected 87,508 poor souls.  With 76 confirmed cases in America now and "community spread" starting in several hot zones in the US, Americans are now finally starting to pay real attention to what is going on.  

Unfortunately, that also means that some people are starting to panic buy like its the day before a hurricane hits.  We have seen videos of Costcos with hundreds of people in line to buy toilet paper and paper towels.  We also have heard that even gun stores are jammed with buyers and running out of ammo.

We hope that you were able to take our advice and hit the stores last week with our shopping list from Alert #2 before this went down, because it is getting hard to buy masks and even hand sanitizer currently. 

Now what you need to be doing is getting ready for the virus to start to impact our cities and towns in a big way.  Below are a few basic things to be thinking about:

We know it is trite and simplistic but the number one way to avoid getting sick is to wash your hands frequently and thoroughly.  Not only will this protect you from COVID-19, but also importantly, will help you prevent getting the regular flu as well.
